L.P. GAS MINIMUM HEIGHT HORIZONTAL TERMINATION

For L.P. gas and high altitude installations (above 4,000 ft.), 45° elbows must be used in place of 90° elbows.

NOTE: This requires 22”

minimum ~

height to center of vent cap.

CAUTION: If 90° elbows must be used,

a 24 inch vertical starter section must

be used off the top of the fireplace.

NOTE: This requires 49-3/4" height to center of vent cap from floor level. Add an additional 1/4" per foot of horizontal run. The minimum ceiling

height from floor level will be 55-3/4" when using this minimum configuration. Adjust ceiling height upward for other configurations.
